Your Counselor 

Destine is the owner & founder of WeAreOne Concept Counseling established in 2017. She earned a bachelor’s degree in Social Work at Stephen F. Austin State University and completed her master’s degree in counseling at Texas Southern University.

She began her career in 2004 as a social worker in Houston, TX working within the foster care community.  After becoming a Licensed Professional Counselor in 2010, she continued her work assisting adults with severe mental illness at an Intensive Outpatient Program providing individual and group therapy.   

Destine particularly enjoys working with children & adolescents, however she notably has experience with adults and different groups, keeping diversity and inclusion in the forefront of her practice.

Destine works together with clients to develop the insight needed to overcome through difficult times. This approach adds value for those who desire healthier & more effective ways to cope with life's stressors, anxiety, depression, and poor self-esteem. She enjoys motivating others to grow & develop their self-awareness, meaningful relationships & overall well-being.
